A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING YOUR CITY COUNCIL’S PREFERENCE THAT MISDIRECTED FUNDS TO CONTINUE THE WARS IN IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN BE REDIRECTED TO DOMESTIC PRIORITIES, INCLUDING PRESSING NEEDS IN YOUR CITY.
The following is a simple guide to getting a City Council Resolution passed in your community. A City Council Resolution campaign is not a "one size fits all" effort but the following are ideas to get you started.

Join a coalition of 24 organizations across the state of Maryland to urge the Maryland General Assembly to pass legislation requiring that the Maryland National Guard be used only for legal purposes on February 23 in Annapolis.

unanimously adopted a resolution put forward by Mayors for Peace
entitled "Support for the Elimination of All Nuclear Weapons by the
Year 2020."
