06/30/08 Bellingham City Council to consider resolution Opposing US military intervention in Iran PDF Print E-mail
On June 23rd, Bellingham City Council Member Terry Bornemann brought forward for the council's consideration a resolution urging the Bush Administration to pursue diplomatic engagement with Iran. It also urges Congress to prohibit the use of funds to carry out any military action against Iran without explicit Congressional authorization.
